SENKO’s new transparent adapter design offers providers and installers a way to effortlessly locate half-latched or unlatched connectors. The clear adapters allow installers to spot the problem area by sight or by creating a laser light path with a LED. Once the break in the connection is found, workers can quickly reconnect unlatched connectors, restoring connections in a timely manner. SENKO’s transparent adapters are held to the highest standards just as our standard SC adapters and are compliant with Telcordia, ANSI, TIA/EIA, NTT and JIS. Other features of the transparent SC adapters include high precision alignment, low insertion and return loss, and flange options, plus it comes in a compact design.
SENKO offers a broad range of SC adapters that incorporate a PPS hook which returns to the original position with full functionality after days in the partial-latched position. The hook performs well under high temperatures, maintaining plug retention strength.
Simplex, duplex and quad adapters are available in plastic, with or without flanges, and in horizontal and vertical mount styles. All come with a choice of zirconia split sleeves (diagonal or straight split options available), or with phosphor bronze straight split sleeves. Housing is available in a variety of colors.
