Miniflex WAM machine

The Miniflex WAM has been specifically designed to speed up installation time and improve ease of fibre deployment particularly in the last 100 metres of installing FTTH. The WAM is a rechargeable battery powered portable installation tool that enables a pre-connecterised TuffNut cable to be 'pushed' from the home all the way through our DVC Microduct to the fibre distribution node. These three products make up the Miniflex solution, Miniflex Fibre-to-Customer-Connection (MF2C) for 'last-mile fibre' deployment. It enables service providers to install fibre quickly and economically into offices and homes.

The Miniflex DVC Microduct is particularly useful for multi-dwelling units (MDU's), where contractors are working in a complex environment. The speed of this type of installation will mean a job that would previously take a contractor half a day, will now only take half an hour. This will save your business significant time and money. The benefits of using the Miniflex WAM to install cable is amply demonstrated by the results of the trials documented overleaf.

Benefits

The WAM is a light weight (1.5 Kg /3.3lbs) and portable tool making it ideal for internal and external use. It can be mounted on a tripod, set on a flat work surface or handheld in situations where space is at a premium.
