The Polarization Independent Isolator Core uses a Faraday Rotator based component as an in-line fiber optic isolator. It can be integrated with other components to block back reflection or to enhance the device’s isolation. The input beam’s polarization state is not a factor in the device’s operation.
The components have high isolation, low insertion loss, low Polarization Dependent Loss (PDL) and low Polarization Mode Dispersion (PMD).
