SENKO's new transparent adapter design offers providers and installers a way to effortlessly locate half-latched or unlatched connectors. The clear adapters allow installers to spot the problem area by sight or by creating a laser light path with a LED. Once the break in the connection is found, workers can quickly reconnect unlatched connectors, restoring connections in a timely manner.

Senko Advanced Components, Inc. has introduced a duplex LC connector with a single boot, dubbed the LC Uniboot. The connector's design allows a single round duplex 3 mm cable to be used for a duplex connector. According to the company, the compact, easy to terminate connector kit has a simple round crimp design and incorporates standard Senko 900-um LC connectors, enabling the normal optical performance of the company's LC design. The single piece design fits all duplex and simplex adapters.
