  Fiber Checker - Visual Fault Locator

Fiber Checker is a handy tool to check the breaks and faults of the fiber in the optical network and FTTH construction. With short visible wavelength, Fiber Checker can be a fiber broken indicator. Fiber Checker sends a visible 650nm wavelength red light through a fiber optic cable. Refraction of the 650nm red light caused by any breaks and or cracks in the fiber will glow red, thus giving an exact visual location of the fault in the fiber.

The XP Fit Plus comes with an assembling jig and fiber holder for 900µm tight buffered fiber which makes for an accurate and concise alignment and fiber cleave when terminating the connector. Following the guides on the assembling jig and fiber holder assembly is effortless, once the fiber is pushed into the connector and a click is heard the job is complete and the connector is ready.
