The Product Manager for the Clean, Inspect & Test (CIT) product line at SENKO is responsible for driving the success of a suite of fiber optic tools and equipment essential to ensuring connectivity reliability. This includes products such as fiber cleaning tools, inspection scopes, interferometers, loss testers and various optical equipment used across manufacturing, telecom, data center, and environments wherever precision fiber optic connectivity is needed.

This role requires a combination of technical understanding and commercial insight to manage the full product lifecycle from opportunity identification, working with suppliers, innovation and roadmap development to product launch and market growth. The ideal candidate is a proactive, customer-oriented professional with strong collaboration skills and an entrepreneurial mindset. You will work closely with engineering, R&D, sales, marketing, and operations teams to drive innovation and support SENKO’s reputation as a leader in fiber optic connectivity solutions.

  • Proactively align product decisions with company strategy and actively seek ways to increase product profitability
  • Develop and own the product strategy and roadmap for the Clean, Inspect & Test (CIT) product portfolio, aligned with customer needs and SENKO’s goals
  • Own the product lifecycle which includes define product requirements, manage development timelines, support launches, and oversee post-launch success
  • Collaborate with R&D and engineering to translate customer needs into innovative, manufacturable CIT solutions
  • Champion SENKO’s “Design-Test-Manufacturing” approach to ensure products meet real-world application needs and are scalable to manufacture
  • Analyze market trends, customer feedback, and competitor offerings to refine product direction and identify innovation opportunities
  • Coordinate and conduct customer research, including hands-on testing and feedback gathering, to inform product development
  • Facilitate application testing and beta trials of new CIT tools to validate performance, usability, and application fit
  • Partner with sales to drive customer engagement, including end-user spec-in activity and joint visits with Outside Sales
  • Provide technical support to internal teams and external customers for CIT products
  • Support sales enablement by accelerating product knowledge through documentation, training, and product demos
  • Prepare and maintain product collateral including spec sheets, datasheets, brochures, user guides, and training videos
  • Oversee the creation and distribution of onboarding and training tools for distributors, customers, and sales partners
  • Collaborate with operations and supply chain to ensure product quality, cost-effectiveness, and availability
  • Track product performance metrics including sales, margin, customer satisfaction, and return rates to guide improvements
  • Monitor product support cases and failure modes to identify opportunities for quality enhancements and better field performance
  • Support marketing with product positioning, messaging, and go-to-market execution
  • Create internal tools such as sales presentations, FAQs, and battle cards to support commercial efforts
  • Participate in trade shows, customer visits, and field research to promote the CIT line and capture market feedback
  • Walk trade show floors to identify product trends, emerging needs, and new potential target accounts

Qualifiche:

  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering, business, or related field required; MBA or technical graduate degree is a plus
  • 3+ years of experience in product management, product marketing, or a related technical/commercial role required
  • Experience working cross-functionally with engineering, sales, and marketing teams
  • Familiarity with fiber optics, interconnects, data center, telecom, or industrial technologies is a strong asset

$65.000 - $120.000 all'anno
