YES! If you are considering the purchase of a high performance inspection scope like our POLARIS, you want to make sure the inspection scope will be able to meet your needs with accurate and reliable measurements. The best way to verify if the POLARIS will meet your requirements is getting an evaluation unit in your hands. The Senko team will work with you through each step of the process. The first step to get started is to talk with your local Senko sales representative or email us at sales@senko.com.

POLARIS was designed for critical examination of the polished fiber end faces for MT ferrules and MPO connector systems to serve as a reference system to check the inspection results of lower resolution microscopes on the production line. This makes the POLARIS ideal for use in R&D and scientific labs that demand the most accurate measurements of submicron surface features.

For more information on POLARIS, please contact your local Senko sales representative or email us at sales@senko.com.

No. The MPO Verifier module is made for the MANTA series inspection scopes. Please contact your local SENKO sales rep or email us at sales@senko.com if you are looking for a solution for confirming MPO polarity and verifying continuity with the POLARIS inspection scope.

The POLARIS inspection scope’s typical inspection times for MT end faces are:

  • 36 secs for a 12 fiber MT end face
  • 46 secs for a 16 fiber MT end face
  • 64 secs for a 24 fiber MT end face
